Iclipse is an easy to use, client server Windows-based Document Management and Workflow solution which offers:
*Predictable financial and strategic benefits
*Stable, proven technology which is in widespread use
*Scaleability and suitability for either departmental or corporate use
Iclipse can be tailored at both the departmental and corporate levels to address the specific business requirements of diverse organisations. Iclipse solutions are in use at a wide range of organisations, including large metropolitan borough councils, small district councils, central government ministries, insurance agencies and banks.
Iclipse runs on Windows NT, using either an Oracle or SQL Server database. It is able to grow in line with business requirements without impacting the end user interface. Existing implementations range in size from a single user up to 6000+ users.
Iclipse functionality
*Easy to use but comprehensive document scanning, capture and indexing facilities, with wide ranging defaults to speed processing and automatic indexing of documents with an OCR or BCR reference
*Ability for users to set up their own document trays containing documents of different types, for example all incoming documents or all documents approaching their deadline date
*Wide range of search options for fast retrieval and display of documents
*Security and change control, with check in and check out facilties for updating and full document history
*Auto-routing of documents to responsible persons via a routing code input during document indexing
*Comprehensive letter production facilities, including auto-linking of replies to incoming correspondence and auto-generation of standard replies at specified points in a document's life cycle
*Deadline management. Each type of incoming document will be automatically allocated a default priority and deadline date, enabling users to display their work in priority order, and display documents that have reached or are approaching their deadline date
*Mobile working. Users may quickly assemble sets of information, such as everything known about a particular benefit claim, and download it onto a laptop for easy access whilst off site, for example on a visit
*Standard reports analysing document throughput, either in text or graphical (pie chart, histogram etc) format
*email integration, providing automatic attachment of selected Iclipse documents to outgoing emails, and automatic extraction of incoming email attachments for capture into Iclipse
*Sophisticated workflow, providing all the facilities necessary for users to build their own workflows in line with their business processes
*Bulk import of electronic documents from other systems
*Electronic import of Benefits Agency documents (rather than a scan of the paper documents)
*Full audit trail of all actions performed on each document, with details of user, action and time
*Powerful system administration facilities for maintenance of users and permissions, document classes and types, user-defined indexing fields, defaults and so on.
