IBM Recall
IBM has issued a recall notice for laptop power adapters. They shipped with laptops between January 1999 and August 2000. They have an electrical problem which can cause them to overheat and pose a fire and electric shock risk.

Data Storage Sales Up
Sales of data storage hardware rose in the second quarter by 5.1% according to Gartner. External controller-based Raid disc storage produced produced $3.23bn (£1.8bn). The overall trend for the year is down though.
