ITNet and Capita have won deals with in the Insurance industry. Equitas, the insurance group has extended an outsourcing contract with ITNet by 3 years. The deal worth £14m covers, desktop management, helpdesk support, server hosting, network management and application management. Capitas contracts are to help Equitas restructure the way it delivers services.

EDS has settled a dispute with the NHS. The row centred on the cancellation of a £90m e-mail and directory services contract. A dispute resolution was used. Thus blame was not attributed to either party. Cable and Wireless will now take over the contract.
