MailFoundry has launched an all-in-one email archive appliance starting at under $2,000. MailFoundry Archive is an "enterprise class" email archive system with search and recovery tools.

The suite is compatible with all email systems and features offsite backup for storage and disaster recovery.

Document archiving is an important element of many regulatory regimes including Sarbanes-Oxley, in particular Section 802 and the HIPPA.

Email traffic is captured in real-time and when combines with offsite backup and disaster recovery.

The product is available in three models, the 1500, 2500 and 3500. Prices start at $1,999 and is set for 100 users.

The product will be demonstrated at InterOp in Las Vegas.
