OpenPages Governance, Risk and Compliance Platform Cited as a Strong Performer by Independent Research Firm
Waltham, Mass. - March 24, 2006 -OpenPages today announced that it was named a Strong Performer in the recently released Forrester Wave™: , by Michael Rasmussen, with John R. Rymer and Samuel Bright. OpenPages was one of ten select companies that Forrester Research invited to participate in the report, which evaluated Governance, Risk and Compliance solution providers on their product offerings, strategy and market presence. OpenPages received high marks for its reports/dashboards/metrics capabilities and was noted as being able to effectively differentiate itself through the management of key risk indicators.
The report noted OpenPages for leveraging its strength in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance to tackle broader enterprise governance, risk and compliance requirements, and highlighted OpenPages ORM as “laying the groundwork for a GRC platform to manage risk and compliance across the enterprise.” Specifically, Forrester said, “the OpenPages suite differentiates itself on the development and management of key risk indicators (KRI), particularly through its partnership with Risk Business and its KRI framework.” The report went on to state that, “the flexibility of the suite allows organizations to start with SOX and use the same investment and architecture to expand into other GRC purposes.” Current product offerings from OpenPages include solutions for financial controls management and operational risk management. A product for IT governance is scheduled to be released in Q4 2006.
“We are honored to be named a strong performer in the Forrester Wave for GRC,” said Michael J. Duffy, president and CEO of OpenPages. “Forrester’s evaluation validates our vision for unifying the silos of compliance, risk and performance management and empowering companies to become well-governed businesses.”
