Department of Justice Awards Archer Agency-Wide Contract for Incident Management
Overland Park, Kan. (July 11, 2005) – Archer Technologies (Archer), a recognized leader in delivering enterprise security solutions, announced today that the Department of Justice (DOJ) has awarded Archer a contract to standardize and automate the department’s Incident Management and Reporting process. The DOJ will deploy Archer’s Incident Management software solution throughout all of its divisions, bureaus and offices to facilitate rapid identification of security incidents and information exchange and to manage the remediation of incidents throughout the DOJ infrastructure.
Archer’s Incident Management solution will provide the DOJ with tools for successfully combating security and safety breaches, enabling the department to remain in compliance with mandates for improved governance, such as the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). This customizable solution facilitates the anonymous and confidential reporting of cyber incidents, security events and physical security incidents such as thefts, injuries and location-specific security breeches. Providing centralized management and oversight tools, Archer’s solution will enable the DOJ to track all aspects of the incident investigation process and to ensure compliance with governmental regulations in the resolution of incidents.
