Model N has launched a new version of its Revenue Management suite. Central to the new software is automated pricing and regulatory compliance monitoring.
Controlling revenue leakage and managing regulatory compliance risk are the main selling points of the suite. Life sciences companies are the main target market.
Stephen Zocchi, Model N's vice president of marketing, commented. "Facing unprecedented pricing pressure and rapidly changing regulatory scrutiny, life science companies need to leverage technology to align their pricing, contracting and reimbursement processes into an end-to-end system. They also need to rely more heavily on those systems to minimize revenue and compliance risk. This next generation of Model N Revenue Management delivers leading integration and automated controls, and more importantly, sets a new standard in usability to ensure that the applications deliver to their full potential for the business."
Model N has put money into improving the usability of the suite. The result, claimed by the company is improved look and feel, screen organization and navigational flow.
Functionally improvements are in contract auditing for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and advanced business intelligence reporting with ad-hoc reporting.
Model N is also claiming that comprehensive price monitoring is a first for the industry. This includes pricing floors, Best Price, FSS (Federal Supply Schedule), and net price monitoring.
