McAfee unveiled its network access control (NAC) strategy. The stated aim is to lead the enterprise-scale security management and policy enforcement. McAfee(R) NAC, powered by McAfee Policy Enforcer, gives medium to large businesses anywhere, anytime access to corporate networks for their employees, guests and contractors, while protecting valuable assets from the risk of endpoint malware and misconfiguration.
Extreme Networks, Inc., vendor of open converged networks, is showcasing its network security framework allowing best-in-class security to be integrated into an open network at this week's RSA Conference. The company is demonstrating how policy-driven security can be enforced within the network using ExtremeXOS(TM), the first network operating system supporting open APIs. ExtremeXOS operating system and open API communication extensions that allow for real-time collaboration between the network and Virtual Security Resources (VSRs) is being demonstrated in Booth 2234.
