RSA 2006 has a number of contributors to do with biometrics.
BIO-key International is demonstrating its finger-based biometric identification and wireless public safety. BIO-key, and IdentiPHI LLC, a joint venture formed by KeyOvation, and BIO-key, that delivers comprehensive, modular security solutions to manage user authentication, will demonstrate state-of-the-art identification solutions, based on BIO-key's patented, award winning biometric technology in booth 1607. BIO-key will feature WEB-key(R), a cost effective, easy to deploy, fingerprint based strong authentication system.
Aladdin Knowledge Systems is showing its biometric authentication technology based on cardiac patterns. Aladdin is a vendor of Software Digital Rights Management (DRM) and USB-based authentication solutions, and an innovator in enterprise secure content management.
Seagate and Wave Systems are showing a security solution that combines strong protection for intellectual property with a simple way to manage and protect encryption keys and passwords. Seagate is bringing the Momentus 5400 FDE, a 2.5-inch, 5400-RPM notebook hard drive with hardware-based Full Disc Encryption (FDE). New Wave's Trusted Drive Manager to give organizations an easy way to set up and configure the Momentus 5400 FDE drive and automate protection and management of passwords and encryption keys. It is the New Wave technology that can be combined with biometrics for smart cards to enable multi-factor authentication.
