Continental Airlines has selected McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.0i to replace its existing legacy system. McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator(R) (ePO(TM)) will also be implemented by Continental. Continental Airlines' previous security solution had only five management consoles and took days to provide the latest updates. With McAfee ePO's centralized management capabilities, Continental Airlines is now able to obtain a comprehensive view into their systems under a single console and can receive anti-virus updates within hours. "McAfee takes security beyond traditional virus protection. It has provided us with a multi-layered security strategy that includes proactive protection from buffer overflows and other advanced threats. McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.0i offers next generation anti-virus protection that integrates elements of intrusion prevention and firewall technology into a single solution for PCs and file servers. McAfee ePO enables the transparent management and enforcement of system security policies, and enforces updates or upgrades required to effectively monitor system security.
