US corporate governance influence continues to be leveraged outside of the US. Voyence has expanded in Germany by signing an agreement with OpenAdvice Systems to integrated their products.

OpenAdvice is a supplier of Operational Support Systems (OSS) and IT security.

The functionality to be integrated is VoyenceControls data collection from heterogeneous networks and mapping results to compliance policies. OpenAdvice brings security and network management.

Whilst Germany does not have the infamous Sarbanes-Oxley Act its banks will have to comply with the Basel II accord. Telecoms companies also have their own compliance issues.

In the event of a security breach, VoyenceControl allows IT administrators to rapidly rotate passwords in minutes -- a process that previously had taken days to achieve. Regarding worm attacks, VoyenceControl empowers customers to quickly update Access Control Lists (ACLs) on devices, independent of the device vendor.
