The annual RSA Conference is due to take place between 13-17 Feb 2006. RSA is planning to showcase its wares along with its partners. Key subjects for the conference are data security and cryptography. IT professionals, developers , policy makers and academics are all typical attendees. RSA Key Manager is one suite that will be demonstrated by the security giant at RSA 2006. A standalone product, Key Manager protects encryption keys throughout their lifecycle. The software can be integrated with other encryption software including RSA BSAFE Data Security Manager. Compliance with the global initiative of the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard. RSA have recently sold the suite to Accor North America to protect keys at over 1,200 hundred hotels. The conference comes as RSA have reported their fourth quarter results. Apani Networks manager, Michelle Tack will speak on her company's software approach to to security zoning and network segmentation. Apani claim that the approach will lower the total cost of ownership for IT security enforcement. Subjects covered will be deperimertization, value of internal data and security zones. Tablus a vendor of content protection solutions is to be on the RSA 2006's Innovation Station. They will be displaying their new Content Sentinel product. The suite offers content protection against unauthorized or unintended dissemination of sensitive material. In doing so companies can move towards compliance with the Payment Card Industy (PCI) Data Security Standard and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. The 15th annual RSA Conference will be held at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California, February 13-17, 2006.
