Drug discovery firm, Tripos has implemented CyberGatekeeper from InfoExpress for its network access control.

Security of endpoint connections to the enterprise network by the workforce are the target.

CyberGatekeeper is being combined with CyberArmor, an enterprise level firewall to firm up security.

The Tripos team determined that they needed to ensure that mobile user machines were infection-free and met baseline security policy requirements, including a check to see that security methods put in place had not been altered or disabled by the end user, before being allowed access to the enterprise network.

"The InfoExpress CyberGatekeeper and CyberArmor solutions met our enterprise security requirements so closely, it's almost as if InfoExpress had created them specifically for our needs," said Jerry Wintrode, Sr., the network architect at Tripos. "While other companies were hit with worms that shut down e-mail servers, we've been able to anticipate attacks and stop them in advance. The solutions work seamlessly within our Cisco environment."
