MedcomSoft, is releasing a new Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

Funnily enough they claim that it is the first "truly interoperable" EMR system. MedcomSoft Record 2006 is the third generation of the product and integrates point of care and reference vocabularies.

The suite is integrated with MEDICIN, a recognised vocabulary.

The software allows drug prescriptions and laboratory test results to be automatically codified with MEDCIN numeric codes in the same manner as clinical notes, thereby providing the first homogeneous longitudinal patient health record.
