Mazu has attained Common Criteria certification for its Mazu Profiler software.
The Profiler is a network behavior analysis (NBA) system.
The certification means that the software has met a set of predefined requirements. The requirements are laid out in a security document from the National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP).
The NIAP itself is a partnership between the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the National Security Agency.
Network traffic and and behavior is analyzed to provide IT management with the intelligence required to operate internal networks more securely. The suite offers audit and internal controls.
U.S. government agencies use the certification to ensure applications secure their critical infrastructure.
