SOX Express and Del Monte

Food giant, Del Monte has selected OpenPages Sarbanes-Oxley Express (SOX Express) for its compliance initiative. SOX Express is used to automate a company's evaluation process and internal controls documentation. In particular so they can achieve compliance with Sections 302 and 404 of the act. “We selected SOX Express because of its flexibility and easy-to-use interface,” said Richard Schmidt, Vice President -- Internal Audit at Del Monte Foods. “OpenPages’ reputation for effective and efficient implementations, customer support, and innovative product development played a substantial role in our decision.” SOX Express is an enterprise compliance management solution. Features include document management, business process management and reporting capabilities. Testing and reviewing of internal controls can be a time consuming and expensive business. Following the introduction of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, compliance management has become one of the hottest growth areas for automation.
