BizRights, an enterprise controls management application has been implemented by UGS Corp. UGS who sell product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions aims to use the software for business controls.

Access will be controlled to UGS's SAP systems and streamline compliance efforts relating to controls such as segregation of duties. BizRights Procure-to-Pay is also being implemented by UGS to monitor business controls in the procurement processes.

William Cronin, IT Director of Finance and Human Resources Applications for UGS said "Our immediate need was to help us meet the Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for segregation of duties,...BizRights provides us better monitoring and control of both user access and user activity in business process areas such as procurement. The new platform will enable UGS to design, implement, test and monitor business controls.
