Palisade Systems has released PacketGuard. The software secures data from unauthorized sharing either internally or externally to an organization. PacketGuard will form part of Palisade's Content Surety framework. An identity -based firewall for internal networks, PacketGuard can be deployed to segment information sharing zones and manage internal access of network resources within specific zones. Internal access can be controlled to private content such as client records and confidential information. Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA and Gramm-Leach-Bliley all require that companies privacy and security.
