IntelliCorp's NetProcess has been validated for integration with Mercury's optimization offerings. The move will aid speed and automation of testing SAP solutions.
The validation means that NetProcess can be integrated with Mercury's Quality Center.
Additionally IntelliCorp has joined the Mercury Elite Technology Alliance Program. The initiative should allow the partners to streamline lifecycle activities, improve efficiency and heighten performance, according to the press release.
The Alliance Program aim is to enable technology and software vendors to develop integrations with Mercury BTO Enterprise products. Areas covered include IT Governance, application delivery and application management.
NetProcess concentrates on the discovery of which business processes are supported by SAP applications and importing the information directly into TestDirector.
Business scenarios are created in NetProcess via assembly form imported activity documents and using the discovered business processes as a guide. Once created Mercury can then import thema as business test requirements, scenario tests and unit tests.
Christopher Trueman, CTO for IntelliCorp commented, "Companies depend on, and invest significant resources in, SAP applications for business process automation, ... The IntelliCorp integration with Mercury offerings reduces time and costs by taking the guesswork out of determining what needs to be tested. Savings across the ERP lifecycle mean that more resources are available to spend on other IT projects that generate greater business value."
