Coastal Technologies Group a vendor of call detail processing and accounting process solutions for the telecoms industry has completed an SAS 70 audit.
The SAS 70 audit was an in-depth examination of CTGi's ability to securely process and host critical customer data. The certification is internationally recognized.
Other areas covered include risk assessment, information, monitoring and communication.
The certification should make compliance with Sarb anes-Oxley easier because of the correlation with the COSO framework.
Coastal processes more than 10 billion call detail records each month, so ensuring accuracy of processing and the safety and control of our customer's data is our utmost concern. Our customers base their accruals and public filings on numbers we generate, so our reporting must be completely correct, verifiable and timely, said Richard Kane, president and CEO of CTGi.
