Margaret Smith, CEO of user group CIO-Connect is to leave in December after 12 months in the job.

She gave as her reason, allowing the National Computing Centre, owner of CIO-Connect to achieve longer term objectives.

Interim CEO of the user group will Raza Hussain, currently managing director of the Impact Programme.
