Silicon Image has appointed Robert R. Freeman as its Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer.

Previously Mr Freeman had been a management consultant to Horn Murdock Cole. The firm specialised in offering advice on compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act to software and semiconductor companies.
