CyrusOne, a vendor of IT infrastructure has announced its certification as an SAS-70 Type II facility, by the American Institute of Certified Accountants (AICPA).

The cerftification centres on an in-depth audit of a company's control activities. Information technology and IT related processes are also covered.

Part of the audit ensures that the organization has implemented policies and processes, to keep information secure, stable and safe to government standards such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.
