NYSE Forced To Hand Over Merger Documents

The New York Stock Exchange has been ordered to turn over documents and analyses relating to the acquisition of Archipelago Holdings.

Three NYSE seat holders opposed to the merge with the electronic trading system supplier, bought the action.

One of the seat holders, William Higgins felt he should be able to examine the documents seen by the Exchange's directors and on which they voted.
