Laidlaw Education Services, a student transport company has chosen, Hyperion for its business intelligence tools.

Hyperion is to supply its Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Essbase and Hyperion Business Intelligence tools for reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis of financial and operational data.

Laidlaw bought company Hyperion software to automate its planning and analysis, eliminating the need for manual processes and reducing the use of spreadsheets.

A web-based budgeting and planning solution, Hyperion Planning will drive collaborative, integrated, event-based planning processes throughout the organization. Hyperion's Business Intelligence tools, running on Hyperion Essbase's scalable enterprise-class architecture, will be used by the company as an online analytical processing tool for analysis, presentation and reporting throughout the enterprise.
