Iconix Joins Anti-Phishing Working Group

Iconix, a vendor of secure email identification software has joined the Anti-Phishing Working Group (APWG). The APWG is an industry alliance focused on eliminating the fraud and identity theft that results from phishing, pharming and email spoofing of all types. A recent trend shows that phishers continue to target larger, more popular institutions and are expanding their reach into smaller organizations such as regional and niche credit unions.
