Symantec and Veritas Complete Merger

Symantec has completed the merger with Veritas, following approval by both sets of stockholders.

Although it is a merger, Veritas stock has been converted into the right to receive Symantec stock. Veritas shares are no longer traded.

Symantec now claims that as a leading vendor of storage software and security software, they can offer information management across all platforms and customer sizes.
