Tesco, is implementing a centralised IT service management framework, with Computer Associates' Unicenter application at the centre.

The service will be used to offer support across the UK and 11 other European and South-East Asian countries.

Tesco's acquisitive growth in countries such as Thailand and Poland, means that it has inherited disparate legacy systems.

The supermarket chain is using Unicenter's software delivery, asset management and remote troubleshooting functionality.
