IDX is a vendor of healthcare software. Farmers Capital Bank and Citizens BankFarmers Capital Bank Corporation has signed an agreement with Citizens Bancorp, inc to merge. Overstock.com and Ski WestOverstock.com an online "closeout" retailer has completed an acquisition of Ski West, Inc for $25m. Ski West is an online travel company. BD Sells Clontech to Takara Bio Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) has signed an agreement to sell the company's Clontech operation to Takara Bio Inc,. The deal is subject to regulatory approval. Nelnet and Foresite Nelnet, an education finance company has acquired Foresite Solutions. Foresite develops software applications for the administration of financial aid for colleges and universities. These include, ProjectionX, JobX and TimesheetX. "First Citizens Completes Summit Acquisition First Citizens Bank and Trust Company, Inc. and Summit Financial Corporation, a financial holding company headquartered in Greenville, SC, completed their merger. Summit National Bank, the subsidiary of Summit Financial Corporation, officially has become a division of First Citizens Bank. "ABC Bancorp Acquires First National Bank Georgia bank, ABC Bancorp, is to acquire First National Bank based in Florida. Total consideration amounts to $34.8m. Mercury Computer Systems and SoHard Mercury Computer Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:MRCY) announced that it has completed the previously announced acquisition of SoHard AG for approximately 19M euros, subject to certain post-closing adjustments. SoHard AG is a global market leader in the development of advanced software solutions for medical imaging systems, hardware and firmware for commercial embedded systems, and software intelligence applications via professional services. The company is headquartered in Fuerth, Germany.Community Banks and PennRock Community Banks, Inc. has completed its merger with PennRock Financial Services Corp. This combination has resulted in the blending of two franchises that currently boast nearly $3.5 billion in combined assets and over 70 branch offices in 11 counties throughout the geographic center of Pennsylvania; extending from the Pocono region in the north to just across the Pennsylvania and Maryland border. "Pitney Bowes Acquires Danka Canada Inc. Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE:PBI) , through its subsidiary Pitney Bowes of Canada Ltd., today announced that it has acquired 100% of the stock of Danka Canada Inc., a subsidiary of Danka Business Systems PLC, for approximately $14 million. Danka Canada Inc. is a leading provider of office systems services, supplies and equipment in Canada, and generated approximately $36 million in revenue during its most recent fiscal year. It will report into the Pitney Bowes' Canadian operation, which provides office systems, services and supplies to customers as part of its mail and document management product and service offerings. "VSNL Completes Tyco Global Network Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited (VSNL) an Indian telecom's provider has completed its acquisition of the Tyco Global Network. a state-of-the-art undersea cable network that spans 60,000 kms (37,280 miles) and the continents of North America, Europe and Asia. The cost is $130m not including certain liabilities.
