Tenrox Leverages Microsoft SharePoint

Pasadena, California – June 20, 2005 Tenrox, the Integrated Operational Control and Compliance Software Company, today announced the release of Tenrox Document Management (Tenrox DM) built on the Microsoft Office SharePoint products and technologies platform. Tenrox DM is a document storage and information sharing tool that facilitates collaboration within an organization on project documents, employee files, financial transactions, purchases, helpdesk issues, and other document intensive processes. Information workers can create, manage, view, and edit SharePoint and version controlled documents directly inside the Tenrox Web interface. Documents can be associated to users, projects, clients as well as to timesheets, expense reports, requisitions, invoices, and other work processes such as project proposal and project risks/issues. With Tenrox DM there is dramatic change in how documents are managed from navigating complex SharePoint file folder hierarchies to having files organized by and linked to the company’s OBS (Organizational Breakdown Structure), WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) and work processes resulting in immediate access to documents based on current tasks and action items. “As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and with a solution integrating with Microsoft Office Project Server 2003, Tenrox continues to offer innovative solutions that truly leverage the Microsoft platform. The combination of Tenrox DM and Tenrox workflow modules provide a process driven and audited document approval and routing system.
