Intel Ups Q2 Revenue Forecast

Intel has increased its expectation of revenue for Q2 to $9.1bn to $9.3bn, it has announced in a business update.

The new estimate replaces $8.6bn to $9.2bn.

Strong demand for notebooks are the reason according to Intel.

The tax charge for Intel is likely to drop to 26% from 31% due to increased R&D credits.
