BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 6, 2005--PowerSteering Software, the leading provider of solutions that manage and measure enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, announced today that industry veteran Linda Duchin has joined the company as senior director of marketing. Duchin is responsible for lead generation and the development, implementation and management of corporate marketing programs. She brings with her more than fifteen years of business-to-business and business-to-consumer financial services and technology marketing experience, and extensive direct response demand generation and management expertise.

Prior to joining PowerSteering, Duchin was the director of marketing for MarketSoft, where she improved direct marketing results by 74 percent while lowering the cost per qualified lead by 70 percent. She also spearheaded a marketing automation practice that served as a best practices model for prospective customers. Before joining MarketSoft, Duchin was director of marketing for Streamline.com where she ran customer acquisition and developed strategic marketing alliances with American Express, Eddie Bauer and Nordstrom.
Duchin also served as director of database marketing for Fleet and BankBoston. At Fleet she pioneered the use of event-based transaction/behavior data to improve cross sell relevance and she achieved 100 percent employee retention through two major acquisitions. Prior to BankBoston Duchin held management positions at BayBank and Data General.
