Birmingham City Council has implemted Enterprise Content Management from EMC Documentum.

Documents for planning application, construction and refurbishment projects will all be handled by the new system.

Paper documents can be scanned, stored and indexed as PDF files. In the future, voice, photographs, video and Autocad images will all be handled.
