Web www.software-risk.co.uk

Morgan Stanley failed yesterday in a move to have the judge replaced in its case against billionaire Ron Perelman.

The investment bank had claimed that Judge Elizabeth Maass had exhibited "bias and prejudice" against them, on numerous occasions.

The action has been bought by the financier, to seek $2.7bn in damages. The case revolves around the sale of his controlling stake in camping equipment maker, Coleman.
