Logical Apps of Irvine, Ca. has added HR and payroll controls to its flagship Sarbanes-Oxley solution.
The enhancements should enable CIOs and CFOs to implement and enforce internal controls in the HR and payroll areas.
The Sarbanes-Oxley solution is designed so CIOs and CFOs can implement and enforce internal control policies within Oracle E-Business Suite at the application level.
Over 100 segregation of duties conflicts and 300 change controls related to HR. A full audit trail is also offered.

Internal controls are a hot topic at the moment. Corporate America is spending hugely trying to comply with section 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley. 404 requires public companies to examine internal controls and attest to their effectiveness.
Segregation of duties is one part of the controls activities that go to make up an internal control, according to the COSO framework.
