Prince2 Project Name Softwaretest Speed Up Project Document Project Mandate This mandate is the trigger to start up the project Softwaretest Speed Up. Authority to draw up the mandate is from the corporate management of the Softwaretest website. Background to the project is the compilation of the html that makes up the website. Currently this takes 6 hours. By the time the code has compiled the information on the site is out of date. The project has a single objective:- to reduce the time taken to compile the entire website down to less than 3 hours. Project scope is restricted to enhancements to the compilation process. Additional elements for web site content are not covered. Constraints on the project consist entirely of the amount of time the Project Manager and his team can spend on it. There are no interfaces between this project and any other. Quality is expected to be of the highest order. Two measures are to be applied. 1) The entire site is to recompile completely if necessary. 2) The site content is to be exactly the same as if it were compiled using the pre-project slow code. The outline business case consists of the following reasons.
