Identity management company OpenNetwork has been acquired by BMC.

OpenNetwork is a web access provider, which specialises in browser based identity authorisation and authentication.

BMC hope that the $18m (£10m) purchase will expand its offering of identity management tools. These include web single sign-on and federated identity management.
