Management Consulting Group has turned a £3.8m loss into a £8.5m profit in a year. The catalyst? Advising US companies on Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

Turnover in dollars increased by 44%. On conversion to sterling, this became 35% compared to 2003, to £119.2m.

The first two months of this year have matched the same period last year, according to chairman, Rolf Stomberg.
