Microsoft Meet DOJ on Longhorn

US Department of Justice officials are expected to meet Microsoft to discuss the in mid-February the next version of Windows, Longhorn. In focus will be the antitrust safeguards that Microsoft agreed to as part of its settlement in 2002. The desktop version of the operating system is due in 2006, with the server version in 2007.
