The Isle Of Man government is upgrading its IT infrastructure. Centrepiece is a £5m converged voice and data infrastructure called Connect Mann. The network, to be built over 3 years by Dimension Data Holdings and Manx Telecom, is part of the islands e-government programme, Jupiter. 5,000 employees across 12 departments and 189 offices will have access to IP telephony.
