UK banks and financial firms have seen a surge in phishing attacks. Over 85% of attacks are directed at them. The figure is according to industry body, the Anti-Phishing Working Group. The figure jumped from 2,600 in June to 9,000 in December. Over 1,700 phishing sites were recorded in December, up 10% from November.
