Scottish Performance Improvements

A consortium of ten Scottish Councils, led by East Lothian Council has awarded a £1.5m contract for management consultancy. The firms involved are consultancy Aspiren, software and services supplier Civica and supplier Computacenter.

The project is for three years to establish a framework for measuring workloads and improving performance in service delivery.

Funding has been supplied by the Department of Works and Pensions. The primary focus is on improving Housing Benefit and Council Tax administration.
