A Portal Development Kit has been released by SAP and Microsoft. The target market is Microsoft .Net and SAP Netweaver users.

The aim is to extend business critical SAP systems running on Windows platforms. SAP users are supposed to achieve lower costs and reduce complexity by integrating SAP more closely with Windows. The kit is a Visual Studio .Net 2003 add-in.
