Next Gen Java Code posted

Google

Web www.software-risk.co.uk

The code of the next version of the Java Desktop has been posted on the Sun Mircrosystems website.

The posted code relates to the Java 2 Standard Edition (J2SE) 6.0. Eventually the code will become Java 6, currently only known by its codename of "Mustang".

The move is seen as trying to convince the development community of Sun's commitment to making Java a true open source environment. A consequence, they hope is to get more third party organisations to help.
